Pocket Wheels are designed to engage DIN 764 and CICSA LH round steel chains through shaped pockets around the wheel circumference. They can be manufactured in one piece or in two halves assembled with transverse screws for easier disassembly. Material options include GS-800 spheroidal graphite cast iron, special case-hardened NiCrMo alloy steel for scrapers and conveyors, and quenched and tempered alloy steel for traction conveyors and other applications. Catalogue models support chain sizes from 10 × 35 mm to 23 × 80 mm with 6–9 pockets.
Pocket Wheels guide and drive compatible round steel chains through shaped chain pockets rather than projecting teeth. Each pocket corresponds to the chain dimensions and supports engagement as the chain travels around the wheel.
The catalogue includes Pocket Wheels for DIN 764 and TOPONE LH chains. The wheels can use one-piece construction or two-half construction connected by transverse screws for easier disassembly.
